2
As we have discussed earlier in previous article that we can
increase, decrease or stabilize any of the five elements by practicing Mudra.
1)
By touching the tip of the finger with the tip
of the thumb one can stabilize the element related with that finger.
2)
If a particular finger is touched at the base of
the thumb then element related with that finger decreases in our body, i.e. if
we touch the tip of the index finger at the base of the thumb then air element
will decrease in our body as index finger is related with the air element.
3)
If tip of the thumb is touched at the base of a
particular finger then element related with that finger increases in our body, i.e.
if we touch the tip of the thumb at the base of the index finger then air
element will increase in our body as index finger is related with the air
element.
Pruthvi
Mudra
As ring finger is related with the earth element so practice
of this mudra increases the earth element in our body which in turn increases the
amount of the minerals in our body.
Method:-
Touch the tip of the ring finger with the tip of the thumb
as shown in the picture below.

Benefits:-
1)
When practiced regularly this mudra cures
various mineral deficiency in our body.
2)
if the practitioner is underweight according to
his/her height then this mudra helps to gain weight according to height.(BMI)
3)
Helps to maintain optimum amount of minerals in
body.
4)
Keeps the practitioner energetic always.
5)
Helps the practitioner to develop patience.
6)
It fills the heart with love, kindness and
mercy.
Varun Mudra
Little finger is related with the water element so by
regular practice of this mudra one can eradicate skin related problems.
Method:-
Touch the tip of the little finger with the tip of the thumb
as shown in picture below.

Benefits:-
1)
Very helpful to cure dry skin problems.
2)
Purifies the blood.
3)
Improves skin softness and helps one to get
glowing skin.
4)
Reduces wrinkles of facial skin.
Surya Mudra ( Mudra of the Sun)
Ring finger is related with earth and according to Samudrik
Vigyan (Science of Sea) it is also believed to be the place of the sun. When
this mudra is performed immense amount of energy is produced like the energy of
the sun. That's why this mudra is called Mudra of the sun.
Method:-
Touch the ring finger at the base of the thumb and press the
ring finger gently by thumb as shown in the picture below.

Benefits:-
1)
Helps to reduce any type of pain.
2)
Helpful to reduce anxiety and headache.
3)
Helps to control weight and obesity.
4)
Helpful in digestion problems.
Shunya Mudra ( Mudra of Zero)
In Sanskrit Ether/Space/Zero is called shunya and space
element is found in each and every atom of the nature. Many diseases may occure
due to imbalance of this element. As this element is related with the sound so
its imbalance causes ear related problems.
Method:-
Touch the base of the thumb by middle finger and press the
middle finger by your thumb gently as shown in the picture below.

Benefits:-
1)
Helps to cure ear related problems.
2)
Helps to reduce deafness.
3)
Some heart problems are related with the the
ether element or akash tatva so these can be cured by this Mudra.
Vaayu Mudra ( Mudra of the Air)
Method:-
Touch the tip of the index finger at the base of the thumb
and press the index finger gently by your thumb as shown in the picture below.

Benefits:-
1)
Helpful in joint Pain.
2)
Imbalance of air element increases pressure on
heart which leads to heart problems so
this mudra is beneficial for heart patients.
3)
Helps to improve immunity.
( Please note that these all Mudras are effective when practiced regularly for minimum 45 minutes everyday)
